History

Bangor University was established in Bangor, Wales in 1884. Situated in North West of London, the university is host to more than 2,500 students who come from over 100 different countries. The university is one of the oldest educational institutions in the United Kingdom. For over 135 years, Bangor University has been committed to academic excellence. They are one of the most prestigious degree awarding educational institutions in the United Kingdom. The university’s unique location on the coast indicates that it’s an excellent institution to study Ocean Science.

However, over time, the university has become for its other programs, notably Electronic Engineering, Sports Science, and Accounting and Finance. The university offers free English courses and support to international students, including classes in English vocabulary and grammar and business English. The university is home to more than 150 societies and clubs. Since it offers free membership to its societies and clubs, all students get the opportunity to partake in them. Students can enrol in most of the university’s degrees with a placement year or international experience to obtain important employability skills. Location

With slightly more than 15,000, Bangor is one of the tiniest cities in the United Kingdom and has a charmingly cozy atmosphere. The beautiful setting between the Snowdonia Mountains and the Irish Sea is perfect for various outdoor activities.

    Bangor is an affordable educational institution located between the sea and the mountains. The nightlife and the rich culture provide students with several entertainment options. The university has its own nightclub called “Academi” for socialising, has two residential bars, Barlows and Bar Uno, for eating, drinking, and hanging out, and the Pontio Arts and Innovation Centre, which is an art and entertainment venue.
