The university, located in the world-famous city of Liverpool, provides students with the ability to make their home what the Times of London called ‘the coolest place to live in the UK.’ There is plenty for students to do outside of their classes, with a vibrant variety of music, arts and culture on offer throughout the year in the area.

    Location

The title “European Capital of Culture” was given to Liverpool in 2008 because of its rich history and cultural importance. Both students and tourists know it because it has world-class architecture and more listed buildings than any other city except London. In 2004, Liverpool was also granted UNESCO World Heritage status.
