The Royal Veterinary College is the oldest English-speaking veterinary school in the world. It was founded in 1791,
and it joined the University of London in 1949.

veterinary schools globally whose veterinary medicine curricula are accredited. Accreditation from ACOVENE and the
RCVS are indicators of quality veterinary nursing education.
The Royal Society of Biology granted Advanced Accreditation to the new MSci Biological Sciences (Wildlife Health
Sciences) track at RVC in addition to the other RVC Biosciences programmes in 2021. This includes the BSc Biosciences
programmes with placement years and the MSci pathways.
Location
