History

St Mary’s University Twickenham (established in 1850) was previously attached to Strawberry Hill House, which was originally a small cottage with gardens. The River Thames enhances its scenic beauty too. A strong reputation for teaching excellence and a student-centred approach earn the university the full university title awarded by the  Privy Council .
