History
The origin of The University of Exeter was found in the year 1955. It was
converted one after another concerning St Luke’s College (1838), Exeter School of Science (1855), Exeter School
of Art (1863), and the Camborne
School of Mines (1888). In 1900, Exeter Schools of Science and Art
became known as the Royal Albert Memorial College.
Then, in1922, the institution was again converted into a
university college of the southwest. Lastly, in 1955, the institution was given university status and granted a
Royal Charter. The University of Exeter comprises three campuses. Among them, Streatham is the largest campus by
