    Since Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II opened the University of Lincoln‘s Brayford Pool Campus in 1996, more than £ 350 million has been invested in the buildings and facilities, and although the institution can trace its history back to 1861, it is rated as one of the best new universities in the UK by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019.     Students have the support of their personal tutor during their studies, who can provide mentoring, advice, and inspiration to help students get the most out of their university experience. In order to address the needs of the student population, the university also provides a wide variety of counseling and consultation programs for both personal and academic matters.

    Accommodation

    New undergraduate students who confirm Lincoln as their first choice before the deadline are guaranteed accommodation by the university. Most student accommodation at the university is either on the Brayford Pool Campus or only a short distance away, right in the heart of Lincoln's city center.

    The Student Village contains the on-campus housing of the University and consists of two waterfront complexes that are purpose-built: Lincoln Courts and Cygnet Wharf.
